Appalachian Forest Consultants' Story
In 1968, Larry G. Powell stepped out in faith to begin
an independent consulting firm - specializing in forest
management. Along side a stellar military career,
Larry has continued his forest management pursuit
and has had a positive impact on many forests
through his commitment to sound forest
management.
In the late 1990's Quinton G. Powell became a
partner in AFC. Larry and Quint have developed a
great reputation among forest owners and the forest
industry. Their commitment to God, family, the forest
resource and their clients has been evidenced by
their business success and their many long-term
(repeat) clients.
In 2007 Michael T. Wolf partnered with AFC. After
working as a professional forester in many arenas,
including industry and education/outreach, Mike has
joined AFC and the private consulting sector. Mike
has a strong background in forest management and
is a passionate forest health advocate.
Appalachian Forest Consultants has been serving forest owners in PA, WV, OH and NY for 40 years. If you would like to meet or talk to some of our clients in your area just contact us. We can set up appointments or provide contact information for you. Contact foresters or call (814) 893-5459.
